Physical Internet Award

Logit One is winner of the 4th Physical Internet Award for Ventures, that is awarded by the European Technology Platform ALICE (the Alliance for Logistics Innovation through Collaboration in Europe) and the Physical Internet Initiative. It was handed out 10th July 2019 at IPIC 2019, the 6th International Physical Internet Conference.

It is an award for innovations, new business and new technologies to make a future Physical Internet happen. As stated in the briefing, we are being recognized for turning state-of-the-art research into business solutions that are scaleable and economically feasible. We are very grateful for that recognition.

Logit One acknowledges that digitization of logistics can only happen when there is more standardization, simplification and collaboration in logistics processes and information. We provide solutions that allow for planning, execution and visibility in end-to-end logistics based on collaboration between the involved actors (shippers, forwarders, service providers and BCOs).

Dr. Benoit Montreuil, Chair and Professor at Georgia Tech, Coca-Cola Material Handling & Distribution Center, Atlanta, GA, gives an interesting presentation on the Physical Internet at TEDxBucharest.
